PRESENTATION
PREAMBLE
These general conditions of sale apply between: the Museum of Champagne Wine and Archeology Epernay Regional Council (hereinafter referred to as "the museum"), whose head office is:

These conditions aim to define the terms of sale on site and at a distance between the museum and the buyer, from ordering, to payment and delivery. Any order implies full acceptance of these conditions. The museum reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time, without notice being understood that these modifications will not be applicable to reservations made prior to these modifications.
These conditions are applicable from the date the establishment opens to the public.

DEFINITIONS
❖ Order: any contract binding the buyer to the museum allowing the subscription of one or more products.
❖ Product: constitutes a product within the meaning of these general conditions of sale, the sale proposed for a global price, for one or more admissions to the museum and /or a specific visit with reservation, on a specially determined event, or any other product sold on the site (workshops, guided tours, conferences ...). Entrance tickets sold by the museum give access to the museum spaces of the museum as well as temporary exhibitions, under certain conditions.
❖ GTC: refers to these general conditions of sale of ticketing and all products
offered on site or online. The GTCs regulate all the steps necessary for the completion of the
order and ensure the follow-up of this order between the contracting parties. Passing
Order implies full and irrevocable acceptance by the buyer of these GTC.
The buyer acknowledges having the capacity to contract under the conditions described in the following conditions of sale: to be at least 18 years old, be legally capable of contracting and not be under guardianship or guardianship.
At default, the museum reserves the right to cancel the order.
❖ Session activities: refers to all mediation actions (guided tours, educational workshops, conferences ...) which allow you to discover the museum's collections under the guidance of a professional museum guide.
CHAPTER 1: SALE FOR INDIVIDUALS
A ARTICLE 1: THE SALE OF THE RIGHT ' ENTRY AND ACTIVITIES
1.1 Scope of the GTC
These general conditions apply to the sale of single-entry tickets purchased at the ticket office and /or on the museum's website.
The maximum number of tickets that can be purchased online cannot be more than eight (8) per order.
Entrance tickets sold by the museum give access to the museum's spaces as well as temporary exhibitions, under certain conditions.
Entrance tickets are valid for a specific day of the visit, chosen by the buyer according to availability.
For one-time activities, the ticket is valid for a specific activity, on the day and time offered by the museum and chosen by the buyer according to his availability.
The audio guide is included in the price of the entrance ticket. It is available in ten languages: French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Chinese-Mandarin, Japanese, Portuguese and Dutch.
A valid identity document will be requested as a deposit when collected at the ticket office.
1.2 Terms of sale of tickets
1.2.1 Entrance tickets to the museum
The order is made:

Sales are processed within the limits of the quotas allocated to an offer. In fact, they can vary in real time.
If the buyer does not receive the confirmation or denial of his order by email within one day, he must contact the museum by telephone at 03.26.53.03.56.
❖ At the counters
Entrance tickets are on sale at the Reception-Ticketing office when the museum opens and up to one hour before closing.
❖ By correspondence

If the buyer does not receive the confirmation or denial of his order by email within one
week, he must contact the museum by telephone at 03.26.53.03.56.

Upon receipt of the tickets, the buyer must verify that they are in conformity with the order. In accordance with provisions of the Article l 121-21-8 of the Consumer Code, the buyer does not benefit from the right to withdrawal.
1.2.2: Activities at session
The order is made:

Sales of activity tickets (guided tours, educational workshops, conferences, etc.) are processed within the limits of quotas allocated to an offer. In fact, they can vary in real time.
Ordering activity tickets is made from the date of opening of sale indicated on the website calendar.
The opening dates sales may be changed by the museum without notice. If the buyer does not receive the confirmation or the denial of his order by email within one day, he must contact the museum by telephone at 03.26.55.03.56
❖ At the museum counters
Activity tickets are on sale at the Reception-Ticketing office from the opening of the museum until the time of the activity.
Upon receipt of the tickets, the buyer must verify that they are in conformity with the order. In accordance with provisions of article l 121-21-8 of the Consumer Code, the buyer does not benefit from the right to withdrawal.
ARTICLE 2: PRICE AND PAYMENT
2.1 Price of entrance tickets and screening activities
The prices of the entrance tickets or the activities in session (face value) are indicated in Euros (€) all taxes included.
Tickets remain the property of the museum until full and final payment has been received. The rates are annexed to these conditions. The museum reserves the right to modify the prices of the entrance tickets and activities at any time. However, these modifications will have no effect on the price of orders having been previously paid. Any method of payment not provided for in these GTC will be refused by the museum.
2.2 Payment of entrance tickets and Activities at screening
❖ Buying at the counters
The purchase at the museum counters of one or more tickets gives rise to a payment in Euro (€) in one go per credit card (Visa / Mastercard, Carte Bleue, American Express), by check payable to the Museum of Champagne Wine and Regional Archeology of Epernay with presentation of a valid identity document, or in cash.
❖ Online shopping
For online ticket purchases, only payment in Euros (€) by credit card is authorized (Visa /
Mastercard, Carte Bleue, American Express). All payments must be made on the same day of the booking. Full and immediate payment is required for any order placed on the website.
The museum's internet sales platform uses the certified secure payment service PayFit (payfit.com) conforms to the pci / dss standard.
Confidential data (16-digit bank card number, expiration date) are transmitted encrypted to the PayFit payment platform and are not stored but supported directly by the payment service. The museum guarantees that the means and encryption services used to
secure transactions have been authorized or declared by the encryption manager, in
application of the legislation in force. The amount of the order is debited at the time of validation of the payment.
❖ Mail order purchase
For orders made by mail order, the purchase gives rise to payment in Euros (€) by bank check payable to the Museum of Champagne Wine and Regional Archeology of Epernay with copy of a valid identity card or through banking transfer.
CHAPTER 2: SALES FOR GROUPS
ARTICLE 1: Admission fee
1.1 Scope of the GTC
These general conditions apply to the sale of entrance tickets and activities for groups by the museum and independent groups of at least ten (10) people purchased at the ticket office of the museum.
Entrance tickets sold by the museum give access to the museum's spaces as well as temporary exhibitions, under certain conditions.
Group visits must imperatively give rise to a reservation, either by telephone or by email.
No direct sale or reservation on site is possible.
Entrance tickets are valid for a specific day of the visit, chosen by the buyer according to his availability.
For one-time activities, the ticket is valid for a specific activity, on the day and time offered by the museum and chosen by the buyer according to his availability.
If the maximum number of people is not respected on the day of the visit, additional costs may result.
The group may also be refused the right to access the site.

1.2 Terms of sale of tickets

1.2.2: Activities at session
The order is made:

ARTICLE 2: PRICE AND PAYMENT
2.1 Price of group visits
The prices of group visits are indicated in Euros (€) all taxes included.
The prices are annexed to these conditions. The museum reserves the right to modify the prices of the group visits at any time. However, these modifications will have no effect on the price of orders having been previously paid. Any method of payment not provided for in these GTC will be refused by the museum.
2.2 Payment of entrance tickets and activities at screening
Receipt of payment confirms the purchase of the tour. Pending payment, the visit slot is reserved up to two (2) weeks before the date of the visit. It is then put back on sale.
In case of reservation less than two (2) weeks before the date of the visit, immediate payment is recommended, and must, in any event, intervene within a maximum period of seven (7) days before the scheduled date of the visit in order to confirm.
If the reservation is made less than seven (7) days and more than 72 hours before the date, payment must be made at once.
No reservation is accepted less than 72 hours before the date of the visit.
Any cancellation of a group visit taking place less than 72 hours before the date of the visit cannot be subject to reimbursement from the museum.
The payment of group visits gives rise to a payment in one go by credit card (Visa /
Mastercard, Carte Bleue, American Express), by check payable to the Musée du vin de Champagne and Regional Archeology of Epernay with presentation of an identity document, in cash or by transfer.
CHAPTER 3: SALE OF PASS
ARTICLE 1: ORDERING THE PASS
1.1 Scope of the GTC
These general conditions apply to the sale of the “Pass” formula offered by the museum. This
formula can be ordered at the museum ticket office.
Passes sold by the museum give access to museum's spaces as well as the temporary exhibitions under certain conditions.
They are valid for a period of one year from the date of purchase of the Pass. The holder benefits from a reduced rate 1 for guided tours. It gives the accompanying person a free entry.
The audio guide is included in the price of the Pass. It is offered free of charge to all museum visitors and is available in ten languages: French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Chinese-Mandarin, Japanese, Portuguese and Dutch. A valid identity document will be requested on deposit when it is collected at the Reception-Ticketing office.
The museum reserves the right to make any modification to the Pass GTC. In case of modification, the conditions applicable to a purchase are those in force on the day of the order.
1.2 Terms of sale of the Pass
The order is made:

The Pass is on sale at the ticket offices from the opening of the museum until it closes.
ARTICLE 2: PRICE AND PAYMENT
2.1 Pass price
The price of the Pass is indicated in Euros (€) all taxes included. The prices are annexed to these conditions. The museum reserves the right to modify the prices of the Pass at any time. However, these changes will have no effect on the price of orders having been paid in advance.
Any method of payment not provided for in these GTC will be refused by the museum.
2.2 Payment of Passes
The payment at the museum Reception-Ticket office of the pass gives rise to a payment in one go by bank card (Visa /MasterCard, Carte Bleue, American Express), by check payable to the Musée du vin de Champagne and Regional Archeology of Epernay with presentation of a valid identity document, or in cash.
CHAPTER 4: TERMS OF USE
ARTICLE 1: TICKETS AND PASS
1.1 Obtaining tickets and Pass
Tickets accorded to the chosen format:
❖ printable by the buyer via his personal space upon validation of the payment of his order by Internet or dematerialized (m-ticket) when they are downloaded in image form, by means of a Smartphone.
Printable at home or dematerialized tickets are permanently available until the date of the event on the museum's website.
Home Printable Ticket allows the buyer to print the purchased tickets on a regular printer
from internet access. Each post is provided as a PDF file. To be valid, the ticket
must be printed in landscape (horizontal) mode, without changing the print size on an A4 white sheet, blank on the front and on the back. Each ticket purchased corresponds to a ticket.
Tickets printable at home or dematerialized are provided with a unique barcode. The validity of tickets is controlled and recorded at the entrance using barcode readers. The ticket is valid for one day only.
The reproduction of tickets is prohibited and will not give the buyer any advantage. Only the first person presenting the ticket will be allowed to access the site. It is presumed to be the legitimate bearer of the note. That is why it is forbidden to reproduce, duplicate or counterfeit the ticket in any way, or to make it available for such purposes.
The museum may refuse entry to the site when several prints, reproductions, copies or imitations of a printable at home ticket are in circulation and that access to the event has already been granted to the holder of a print, reproduction, copy or imitation of the print-at-home ticket corresponding.
In particular, the museum is not obliged to verify the identity of the person presenting the printable at home ticket or dematerialized in order to verify that it is indeed the ticket buyer, nor to verify the authenticity of the ticket printable at home or dematerialized insofar as the imitation or the copy cannot be unmistakably identified as such during the entrance control to the event.
❖ Issued at the museum counters.
❖ Sent by post. Sending tickets by regular mail will result in the invoicing of a sum
flat rate of € 3.50 per order for management costs. Registered mail (only by
Metropolitan France) will be invoiced € 7.50 per order (management fees included).
1.2 Conditions of use of tickets or Pass
Tickets or Pass cannot be returned or refunded (in particular in the event of loss or theft), or exchanged, nor resold.
No duplicate will be issued.
Any holder of a ticket or a Pass acquired as part of the museum's offers is prohibited, under penalty of possible legal proceedings, to use it for any promotional or commercial purposes. In particular, except with specific agreement from the museum, any sale, resale or exchange of tickets or Pass are strictly prohibited under penalties provided for in the Penal Code.
As such, the museum reserves the right to refuse access to the museum to any holder of a ticket or Pass acquired from an organization other than the museum or any third party duly authorized by it.
Entrance to the museum may be refused if the supporting documents corresponding to the tickets or tickets are not presented.
Pass at preferential rates. In fact, obtaining preferential rate tickets is subject to presentation of the supporting document. If the latter is not presented, the full price will be applied.
ARTICLE 2: ORDERS ON THE INTERNET
The buyer makes his ticket purchase online as follows:
✓ Go to the page: https://archeochampagne-epernay.tickeasy.com
✓ Choose your ticket(s).
✓ Select the desired visit date and time using the calendar displaying the slots
available. When the time slot is no longer available, it is displayed as full.
✓ Choose the desired quantity of tickets within the limit of nine (9) per order, then continue
purchases or finalize the order.
✓ An order summary is displayed before validation of the purchase.
✓ If the command matches, validate. If the order is not suitable, return to the selection
of tickets.
✓ Indicate your contact details, accept the general conditions of sale and click on "payment".
✓ Pay the order by credit card by identifying yourself, if applicable, according to the 3D- standard
Secure by entering the code transmitted by your bank.
The "Your basket" page allows you to check the contents of the current order. As long as the payment has not been saved, the contents of the order can be changed.
If the payment is accepted by the Merchant Processing Center (CTC), the order confirmation
is displayed. The buyer receives an order confirmation email and a proof of
payment.
From the link in the confirmation email, the buyer generates in PDF his ticket(s) that he
can print or download to his phone.
The museum reserves the right to refuse any order from a customer who does not observe these GTC.
ARTICLE 3: MAIL ORDER SALES
Intended for all audiences, the museum's store collections, offers imagined products from local providers and designers. A product catalog can be viewed on the website:
All products are on sale at the Museum Reception-Ticket office and can also be sent by post.
Their sending will give rise to an invoice, including the costs of sending, packaging and managerial:
✓ parcel less than 1kg: 6.70 €
✓ package between 1kg and 1.5kg: € 8.20
✓ package between 1.5kg and 2kg: € 9.60
Packages over 2kg will be subject to multiple shipments.
CHAPTER 5: GTC APPLYING FOR ALL PRODUCTS
ARTICLE 1: MODIFICATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS
The museum reserves the right to modify its cultural offer as soon as all the conditions are not met as it was intended. In the event of cancellation of a service due to the museum, except
major force to which are expressly assimilated cases of requisition of the museum by any public authority for any reason whatsoever, the value of the face price of the ticket paid by the buyer to the museum will be reimbursed at the request of the interested party, presented within a maximum period of three (3) months from the date of the service and on presentation of the non-invalidated ticket and bank details (Identity Statement Bank or bank card number or American Express with its expiration date), excluding any other compensation.
If a session activity has to be interrupted beyond half of its duration, the activity will not be reimbursed.
In the event of interruption or postponement of an event or in the event of cancellation or modification of an exhibition among all the proposed programming, no reimbursement or compensation may be claimed.
As far as possible, the museum undertakes to communicate these cancellations or modifications to the buyers both by on-site communication and by sending informative messages by email to the address provided at the time of purchase. The museum undertakes to respond in writing within fifteen (15) days following the date of receipt of the reimbursement request.
In any case, only the ticket price will be refunded and no costs of any kind whatsoever will be reimbursed or compensated.
ARTICLE 2: RECLAMATIONS
Any complaint must be made in writing and sent to the museum at the following address:

For any delay, the postmark will prevail.
The buyer, beneficiary of special conditions of access to the cultural services of the museum in application agreements between the museum and a partner (theater, museum, transport company, champagne houses, etc.), cannot in any case claim against the museum the breaches of said partner in its obligations.
For any ticket office for which the museum is not the producer (show, concert, etc.), the purchaser must refer to the GTC of the place of the event or of the producer.
ARTICLE 3: PERSONAL DATA
The personal data provided by the buyer are necessary to complete the transaction with the
Museum. Their conservation also allows the museum to contact the buyer as far as possible in case of cancellation or modification of the date or time of the visit or the activity at the purchased session.
In accordance with the law “Information Technology and Freedoms” of January 6, 1978 and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of Council of April 27, 2016 and relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, personal character, the buyer is informed that the data collected on the online sale is subject to processing for informational, relational, or marketing purposes. Only the museum will have access to this information. The data collected will be kept for three (3) years from the buyer's last interaction.
These personal data are processed on the basis of the buyer's consent expressed during the purchase process via the boxes at check.
The buyer has the right to access, rectify or delete data concerning him. he can
also ask for limitation or portability. The buyer can withdraw his consent at any time.

ARTICLE 4: INTEGRALITY OF THE CONTRACT
If, for any reason, one of these general conditions should be declared inapplicable, this
inapplicability would not affect the application of the other provisions of the general conditions, that deemed inapplicable being then replaced by the closest possible arrangement.
ARTICLE 5: RESPONSIBILITIES AND GUARANTEES
Neither the museum nor the buyer can be held responsible for any non-performance arising from a case of major force, beyond their control, including in particular, without this being limiting, cases of war, riot, containment, health crisis, insurgency, transportation disruption, import or export problem, strike, lockout, shortage, fire, earthquake, storm, flood. Likewise, the museum cannot be held responsible for the use of the products ordered and delivered, the buyer is solely responsible for their use by himself or by a third party.
The buyer is financially responsible for the use of the site both in his name and on behalf of third parties including minors except to demonstrate fraudulent use not resulting from any fault or negligence.
The buyer also guarantees the veracity and accuracy of the information provided by himself or any other third parties using their data on this website.
The museum does not guarantee that the information, services, software provided on the website will be free from anomalies or errors or that they can be corrected or that the website will operate without interruption or failure or that it is compatible with a particular material or configuration other than those expressly validated by the museum.
In the event that a payment turns out to be irregular, incomplete or non-existent for any reason, the sale of these services would be canceled. The resulting costs being the responsibility of the buyer, a civil action or criminal that may, where appropriate, be undertaken against the buyer.
The buyer declares to recognize the characteristics and limitations of the Internet in particular its technical performance, response times for consult, query or transfer data and the risks associated with the security of communications. The museum does not accept complaint or refund relating to any non-performance or improper performance of the service provided attributable either to the purchaser or to a third party outside the service, or to a case of major force.
It is expressly agreed that, unless there is an obvious error that the buyer must demonstrate, the data kept in the museum's information system have probative force as to the orders that the buyer places.
The data on computer or electronic media kept by the museum constitute evidence and if they are produced as evidence by the museum in any contentious or other proceedings, they will be admissible, valid and opposable between the parties in the same way, under the same conditions and with the same probative value than any document that is established, received or kept in writing.

These requests will be handled by the museum if they relate to the services provided by the museum within the framework of these GTC.
The information, essential for the museum to process and execute orders, is marked with an asterisk in the pages of the website. The other information requested for which the response is optional are intended to improve the services that are offered to the buyer while ensuring security.
In accordance with the law “Information Technology and Freedoms”, the buyer has, by proving his identity, a right of access, rectification and deletion of data concerning him (article 40 of the Data Protection Act of 6/01/1978).

ARTICLE 6: APPLICABLE LAW - SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES
These GTC are subject to French law. In accordance with the provisions of Article l 133-4 of the Consumption Code, in the event of a dispute that may arise between the museum and the buyer on the occasion of the performance or interpretation of this contract, the latter will remain free to seize a third-party mediator or conciliator with a view to reach an amicable settlement of the said dispute. In the absence of an amicable settlement, the dispute will be brought before the competent French Courts.
These general conditions are established in French and English. If in doubt, incomprehension or contradiction with a translation in a foreign language, the French version will prevail.
ARTICLE 7: MODIFICATIONS OF Terms
The museum reserves the right to adapt or modify these GTC at any time.
In case of modification, the GTC in force on the day of the order will be applied to each order.
